How do they get their votes?

SIOUX CITY -- The Republican Party is amazing.
The very people who suffer the most from the "trickle-down" economic policies (like giving the majority of tax breaks to the richest 1 percent) they espouse are among their most ardent supporters.
How do they manage to convince "Joe Six-Pack" or "Jill Hockey Mom" to vote for them? -- Larry Theobald

I've never understood how the Democratic Party has managed to fool minorities and other working class people into supporting their oppressive and burdensome policies. "

I understand why businesses get tax advantages, as they should, but it seems to me we all pay way too much in taxes.
Last year my total tax payments joint married status with 3 dependents was 8,798.00, Uncle Sam greedily kept 7,449.00 and let me have a measly 1,349.00 and that great deal came at the expense of paying a professional to do my taxes. I'm grateful Nevada doesn't have state tax.
I love the BS argument a house is a tax advantage! ROLMAO! After you add all the expenses to a house there is no advantage. Taxes should get real interesting now when the monetary inflation shockwave finally hits us. "
