BALLTOWN, Iowa (AP) -- The owner of a landmark restaurant in northeast Iowa says a decision about rebuilding the business hasn't been made after it was destroyed by fire for a second time in a year.
Breitbach's Country Dining in Balltown was gutted by fire early Friday morning. Owner Mike Breitbach says a decision on rebuilding could come within a month.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The business was destroyed by fire on Dec. 24, 2007. More than 150 volunteers helped rebuild the restaurant, which reopened in June.
The restaurant originally opened in 1852 as a stagecoach stop and has long been a destination for tour buses.
