A proposed amendment

Posted: Tuesday, October 28, 2008
I propose the following amendment about presidential elections: It shall be short and inexpensive; the candidate shall be tested for intelligence and sanity; and the candidate can't be a politician. The problem is that once a person is elected, they become a politician so they can't run for re-election. Come to think of it, that may not be all that bad.

" It was for a short while DB. I'm not 100% certain of its status as of now. Just the same, they would make a great couple, they have so much in common. "

" Dick: it IS legal in Iowa, isn't it?

Maybe those two can finally find happiness, but I suspect they'd just drive each other nuts. "

" Dick, I do believe your right on the money! That's why Douglas is so unhappy and lashes out with such fever. He says "Women adore me", that's him overcompensating for his denial of his true feelings. Douglas, you need to free yourself of the lie you are living. Reach out to mattb, I think you two have more in common than you think!!! "

" Did I strike a nerve Douglas? Maybe you should take a good long look in the mirror if you feel so insecure. "
