Westwood student released from hospital

SIOUX CITY -- A Westwood High School student who was injured in a crash Saturday has been dismissed from the hospital, and another student's condition has improved.
A Mercy Medical Center spokeswoman said today that 18-year-old Jordan Mitchell of Sloan has been released from the hospital. Adam Greeno, 16, of Salix, who was in guarded condition Monday, is listed in fair condition.
Three other wrestlers and their coach also remain hospitalized at Mercy Medical Center.
Trent Baker, 16, and Blake Jorgensen, 15 both of Sloan, are listed in critical condition. Coach Daniel Thompson, 26, of Mapleton and Sage Washburn, 16, of Hornick are listed in fair condition.
The accident happened Saturday morning on Iowa Highway 141 when their vehicle collided with a minivan near Hornick, Iowa.
The driver of the minivan, Bradley Haburn, 53, of Spencer was pronounced dead at the scene.
Westwood School Superintendent Kirk Ahrends told the Journal on Sunday that Haburn was the father of a Westwood High School student.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
