Biomedical engineer to speak at Dordt

SIOUX CENTER, Iowa -- The Dordt College Chapter of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers will host a public lecture by Dr. Matt Dressler at 8:30 p.m. in the Science and Technology Center lecture hall S108.
Dressler will speak on biomedical engineering with the topic "Restoring Motion and Joy through Total Joint Replacement." He is currently a research and design engineer at Depuy Orthopaedics in Warsaw, Ind.
After receiving his doctorate in engineering mechanics/biomechanics in 2004, Dressler taught courses in the engineering department at Dordt College until 2007.
