Leave 'em there until spring

Posted: Friday, November 14, 2008
We need a law requiring all vehicles that end up in the ditch to remain there until April 15. Since you refuse to slow down and exercise the proper care during winter conditions, we will all be a lot safer if you aren't able to drive until roadways are dry once again.

" Hey 62 plates, I've got a solution. Since you snobby, nose in the air south dakotans didn't want us Iowans to walk into your pristine state on a connecting footbridge, keep your "better than you people" cars out of Iowa!!! "

" I'll tell you what's scary...The "Miracle Man" driving (he told me he was). Did you read about him in the Sioux City Journal newspaper? He caused an accident that killed his wife and he survived an internal decapination. He can't turn his head and is crossed sighted, driving illegally. Informed the police but they said, there was nothing they can do unless they catch him driving. I hate to see him cause another accident or worse yet kill someone else. "

" Hey bobber(not sure I want to know how you got that name), what does compassion for the poor have to do with bad drivers? Most of the bad drivers I have the misfortune of contending with appear well to do. "

" I have #62 plates. Does that make me an obnoxious driver? I'm pretty sure I've seen far worse drivers with the word "Woodbury" across the bottom of their plate. Take a drive down hamilton and downtown someday and take a count on who drives worse. And further, at least when you have a #62 plate the other person can be assured that the driver of that vehicle has insurance. There must be some reason that Sufu has one of the highest ratings for traffic safety and Sux is probably near the bottom somewhere. Your bad #62 drivers are probably transplant SC drivers. "
