Firearm deer season in Nebraska opens today

Posted: Saturday, November 15, 2008Nebraska Game and Parks officials predict hunters will have a good chance to take trophy whitetail or mule deer bucks this year.
Nebraska's deer population is exploding, and there have been complaints about crop damage and car-deer collisions.
Game and Parks officials say hunters should always get permission to hunt on private land and make sure they know what's behind their target when shooting.
