Iowa KidsNet to hold orientation in Sioux City

SIOUX CITY -- Iowa KidsNet, the statewide organization that recruits, trains, licenses and supports Iowa's foster and adoptive families, will hold an orientation Dec. 11 in Sioux City for individuals interested in becoming foster or adoptive parents.
Orientations present a basic overview of the process involved in foster care and adoption and an understanding of the characteristics of children in the child welfare system. There is no obligation to continue in the process by attending an orientation.

Iowa KidsNet is a partnership of six Iowa social service agencies, Four Oaks, Boys and Girls Home and Family Services, Children's Square USA/Child Connect, Family Resources, Lutheran Services in Iowa and Quakerdale.
