Pride of the Dutchmen host indoor Orange City show

ORANGE CITY, Iowa -- The Pride of the Dutchmen Marching Band will present its 2008 Indoor Marching Band Concert featuring the music to be performed at the Fiesta Bowl National Championship and the Fiesta Bowl Parade. 

The 160-member band from MOC-Floyd Valley Senior High School will present the concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 8 in the new high school gym in Orange City. Admission will be charged at the door.

The concert will feature the drumline, the guard and the band performing both street and field show music from the 2008 season. This same music will be heard when the band travels to Phoenix, Ariz., Dec. 30.

The band will compete against 14 bands from across the U.S. in the Fiesta Bowl National Band Championship at The University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., on Jan. 1. The band will also march in the Fiesta Bowl Parade on Jan. 3.
