Green Bean Casserole

5 cans French cut green beans, drained
2 small cans mushroom pieces, drained
1 can (6 ounces) French fried onions
Sauce:
4 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons flour
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 pound Velveeta Cheese, cubed
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Put drained beans and mushrooms into buttered 9 x 13-inch pan. Melt butter, add flour; stir in milk. When it thickens, add garlic salt and soup. Add cheese and stir over medium heat until melted. Pour over beans. Top with French fried onions. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
