Malek-Harrington

Carol K. Malek and John C. Harrington exchanged marriage vows Nov. 29 at Spirit of Life Lutheran Church at the Community United Methodist Church in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, officiated by The Rev. Timothy D. Malek, son of the bride. A reception was at the Church Fellowship Hall.
The groom is the son of Margaret Harrington, Whiting, Iowa. Carol and John's families presented flowers in remembrance of their father and mother.
Participating in the wedding were Becky K. Walters, daughter of the bride, matron of honor; Roger Hoot, best man; Charles Malek, grandson of the bride, Jared Koopman, grandson of the groom, ushers; Andrea Malek, granddaughter of the bride, and Nicole Koopman, granddaughter of the groom.
