Flammang-Benson

Laura Elizabeth Flammang and Matthew Vernon Benson exchanged marriage vows June 7 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. A reception was at the Hinton Community Center.
The couple are at home in Lawton, Iowa. The bride is a 2004 graduate of Lawton-Bronson High School and a 2008 graduate of Briar Cliff University, receiving a bachelor of arts in elementary education. She is a fourth grade teacher at Holy Cross Elementary School in Sioux City. The groom is a 2002 graduate of Remsen St. Mary's High School, and a 2007 graduate of Briar Cliff University, receiving a bachelor of arts in elementary education. He received an industrial technology endorsement from Wayne State College. He is an industrial technology teacher at Kingsley-Pierson High School in Kingsley.
The bride is the daughter of Kirk and Nancy Flammang of Lawton. The groom is the son of Rich and Betty Benson, Remsen, Iowa.
Included in the wedding party were Lisa Heck, matron of honor; Jennifer Flammang, maid of honor; Ashley Ruehle, Mary Benson, Laura Adair, bridesmaids; Michael Benson, best man; Mike Jensen, Chris Miller, Eric Wagner, Rhett Ruehle, groomsmen; Kyan Heck, Nathan Ruehle, Steve Nacke, Donnie DeRaad, ushers; and Ben and Michelle Anderson, acolytes.
