" Clay, You're just bitter because of all the times in school you were beat up and had your lunch taken away! You Nancy boy! "

" They need to replace the junk in the vending machines with healthier options. They also need to totally revamp the school lunch program. I look at the lunch menu and all I see a carbohydrate heavy foods. "

" A fine example of the nanny-state the Democrats want the US to be. "

" Why couldn't they have done this years ago? I remember running to the vending machine before classes started and buying my supply of Reese's candy for the whole day. Perhaps if it wasn't so readily available, I would be in better shape today.... maybe not...

Overall - it's a great idea! With the current push to be healthy and with the growing obesity problem, especially in children, pulling these "unhealthy or junk" foods from the schools is a step in the right direction. Question, though... how does that effect the school lunch programs? Will french fries still be an option? "

" NOT MUCH!! Next thing you know they will want to chew it for you. Every now and then a person has to think for themselves. In the words of "Dear Abby" it is time to MYOB! "
