" Caroline Kennedy withdrew her name from consideration to replace Hillary Clinton in the U.S. Senate after learning that Gov. David Paterson wasn't going to choose her,

Sources said the reason Paterson had decided not to tap the daughter of John F. Kennedy was her poor performances in media interviews and in in private sessions with various officials.

Kennedy received stiff criticism, as she ducked press questions during her first trip upstate, fared poorly in her initial round of media interviews - and several critics said she had a lack of a clear rationale for her candidacy. "

" The Constitution requirements for the Position of Senator are that the person be at least 30 years of age, a citizen of the state, and a citizen in good standing. As much as I hate to admit it, Caroline Kennedy fulfills these requirements, and therefore is qualified to be Senator. She is certainly as qualified, or more so than Al Franken. If I lived in Minnesota, I would be ashamed, of what has taken place there, and more ashamed to admit that Al Franken was my Senator. "

You have a keen eye for detail, indeed Michelle Obama will be an embarrassment to everyone in the United States. Thank goodness the press is in bed with team Obama as they will spare us all the embarrassing details Michelle will cause at State dinners at the White House. Her posture alone makes me cringe. You mentioned she has a “lumbered gait”, it looks like she has a load in her drawers. When were Barack and Michelle married? I wonder if it was a shotgun wedding as I have no idea what he saw it that creature! Barack is an empty suit but he could have done much better. "

" NO, she isn't qualified. Why do people get in these high places JUST because of their names. IF..and I said IF...she is honest at the present time, she won't be for long when she has to deal with all the crooks in D.C.

Hillary doesn't belong in politics either. Talk about a crook!

My father was in State politics. He lost a bid for re-election because he refused to knuckle under to the money people and he supported and voted for things that he thought would benefit the general public. Not just special interest groups. "

" Don,

Yes, Michelle Obama does have a lumbered gait. I've noticed this from the beginning. Maybe she needs to go to finishing school. They have the money. Her upper body leans forward when she walks so she looks clumsy. I look at her and I get the impression she has a short trunk and overly long legs with a large rear-end. However, it's probably genetic. I can't criticize her for how she walks; she was obviously never raised to be a lady. It's not graceful but maybe it's because she leans over so much with the kids. She has to bend down to hold their hands. None of us are responsible for our genetics or poor parenting. She does need some fine tuning though as she will be the next First Lady. Michelle Obama has a nasty attitude that is unbecoming a First Lady, that and he absence of any natural or learned grace is an embarrassment to our entire nation. "
