SIOUX CITY -- A Morningside professor was appointed by Gov. Chet Culver to serve on the Iowa Civil Rights Commission, according to a news release Friday.
Keith Johnson is a visiting assistant professor of business administration and economics at Morningside.
The Iowa Civil Rights Commission makes recommendations to the Iowa Legislature regarding legislation that deals with discrimination because of race, creed, sex, national origin, religion, ancestry or disability. The release said Johnson's term ends on April 30, 2013.
