ANAMOSA, Iowa (AP) - A 63-year-old Iowa woman missing for nearly a week after going fishing has been found - on a raft caught in a brush pile on the Wapsipinicon Rivera river.
The Jones County sheriff's office says Jeanne Schnepp was found on Monday. She was sunburned and dehydrated. Schnepp was taken to a Cedar Rapids hospital, where her family says she's doing "very well."
Schnepp disappeared last Wednesday.
The sheriff's department and other agencies began a search and dragged the river. On Monday, a man who lives along the river spotted Schnepp. Larry Williams says he saw an arm then an oar go up into the air.
Officials say high water took her raft about a mile downstream, where it became caught in the brush.
