CROFTON, Neb -- A 46-year-old
Crofton man has been missing since Friday morning when he failed to
show up to take care of his livestock, according to Cedar County
Emergency Management officials.
Donavon Potts was last seen
Thursday evening wearing a plaid shirt, blue pants, brown boots and
a baseball cap, said Kevin Garvin, Cedar County Emergency Manager,
in a news release.
Garvin said Potts is a white male,
who is six feet tall with brown hair and blue eyes weighing 190 lbs
and was accompanied by his dog Bean, a black and white blue
heeler.
Police said Potts is driving a blue
1999 Ford F150 Pickup truck with a chrome grill guard on the front
with a tan two tone accent over the rear fenders. The license plate
number of the vehicle is 13-FARM-2581.
Garvin said several people have
been searching for Potts since Friday morning, including the Cedar
County Sheriff's Office, the Knox County Sheriff's Office, Cedar
and Knox County Emergency Management, Crofton, Fordyce, Wynot Fire
Department and the Nebraska State Patrol, in addition to numerous
volunteers.
