SIOUX
FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Sioux Falls police are asking for the public's
help in finding a semi involved in a hit-and-run accident that
killed a man at a truck stop along Interstate
90.
Truck
driver George Taylor of Webb City, Miss., died after he was run
over at 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 23 by a tractor trailer at the Pilot
Truck Stop.
Police
say the truck was possibly a Volvo. It's described as a white
tractor pulling a white trailer with "Dean Foods" in large letters.
It was driven by a short, white man about 30 years old who had a
younger female passenger with long brown
hair.
It's
the second such accident within three years at the truck
stop.
On Nov. 9, 2005, truck driver Greg Zuba of Erie, Pa., was struck and killed by a truck in a hit & run case that remains unsolved.
