HOWARD, S.D. (AP) - Green energy is at the centerpiece of a multi million dollar project being proposed in Howard.

It would include a hotel, conference center, performing arts theater, office space and multiple gardens.

Randy Parry is president of the Rural Learning Center in Howard. He says it would be energy efficient and include an energy lab that companies could use for research.

The cost is put at $11.6 million.

Parry says half the money needed has been raised from donations and grants.
