HURON, S.D. (AP) - NorthWestern Energy crews are doing routine inspections of natural gas distribution and transmission systems in South Dakota and Nebraska.
The company owns and operates more than 2,200 miles of natural gas pipelines that serve about 84,500 customers in both states.
Federal and state regulations require the company to do regular inspections of the facilities as part of the company's operation, maintenance and safety programs.
