CHADRON, Neb. (AP) - Authorities have identified a 25-year-old Chadron State College student as a suspect in an alleged homicide.

Chadron Police officers found the body of the suspect's roommate at an off-campus home as they investigated reports of a man armed with a knife Friday evening. The victim's name is being withheld pending notification of family.

A student from Rushville was arrested at gunpoint after a chase.

The Nebraska State Patrol is helping with the investigation. Dawes County Attorney Vance Haug has ordered an autopsy of the victim.

Chadron State College's Web site says the school is cooperating with the investigation.
