STURGIS, S.D. (AP) - Sturgis police say charges are pending against a 37-year-old woman for fraudulently obtaining prescription drugs and then giving them to her 17-year-old son to share with friends at a party.

Police say several juveniles and adults used the prescription drugs, alcohol and cough medicine at a party early this month.

Charges also are pending against an 18-year-old who police say helped several juveniles steal over-the-counter cold medicine from a store before the party.

Names of the adults haven't been released.
