PARKERSBURG, Iowa
(AP) - U.S. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is coming to Iowa to
tour areas damaged by the summer's severe
weather.
California Democrat
Pelosi will walk through Parkersburg, touring damage, and look at
rebuilding efforts in the town after a May tornado that destroyed
about a third of the town.
Pelosi
will be accompanied by Rep. Bruce Braley. They will also conduct a
driving tour of flood damage in Waterloo, Cedar Falls and the
Sinclair elevator area near New Hartford.
Pelosi
is also scheduled to conduct a tour of damage in Des Moines. After
visiting northeast Iowa, she also tour damage in Cedar
Rapids.
