MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Three former officials in a pay scandal at a
job training agency will be sentenced next month in federal court
in Des Moines.
According to an order
issued Wednesday by U.S. District Judge Robert Pratt, Ramona
Cunningham will be sentenced Dec. 15. The former CEO of the Central
Iowa Employment and Training Consortium pleaded guilty to eight
counts of fraud, conspiracy and obstruction.
Karen
Tesdell, the former chief accountant for CIETC, is scheduled to be
sentenced on Dec. 16 on 29 convictions for fraud and
conspiracy.
Jane
Barto, a former deputy director of Iowa Workforce Development, will
be sentenced Dec. 22 on one count of
obstruction.
Sentencing dates were not set for two others in the case - John Bargman and Archie Brooks.
