LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) 'Äî There will be hands-on demonstrations at the fifth annual Missouri River Outdoor Expo at Ponca State Park.

The expo begins Saturday and runs through Sunday at the park, which is two miles north of Ponca in northeast Nebraska.

The demonstrations include sessions on canoeing and kayaking, camping, fishing, hunting, and trapping. It also has sessions on outdoor cooking, survival, wildlife, bird-dog training and firearm safety.

There will be acrobatic performing dogs, dock-jumping competition for dogs, and wild game seasoning and cooking.
