SIOUX CITY -- Move over, turkey and cranberries, and make way for Breakfast With Santa.
Bacon and eggs and photo opps are on the menu at 8:30 and 10 a.m. today for the city's sixth annual morning repast with the jolly old elf as part of the Sioux City Jaycees Festival of Trees.
Families will gather at the Terra Centre Atrium for the reserved-seating event that includes a full breakfast, Christmas music, cookie decorating, face painting, holiday story time and a chance for parents to take pictures of their kids with St. Nick.
Fewer than 10 seats are still open for the 8:30 a.m. breakfast and can be claimed on a walk-in basis until they are filled, according to Mandi Parker, the city's recreation supervisor. Cost is $6.
The 10 a.m. sitting is full. Each sitting is limited to 125 people.
