ORANGE CITY, Iowa -- To call senators Nelson, Landrieu, Lincoln and Lieberman "moderates" is a misuse of the English language, and to give them veto power over the public option in the health bill is a travesty.
Hats off to Sen. Bennett of Colorado who will vote for the bill even if it means losing re-election. That is a profile in courage, a quality the above-mentioned four senators seem to be lacking. And then, of course, there's all that campaign money coming in from the health care industry, which the infamous four don't want to lose. -- Nancy Riggan
