DEADWOOD, S.D. (AP) -- Deadwood casinos are taking precautions against the flu.
At the Lucky Nugget casino, poker room manager Rand Markley says cleanliness always has been taken seriously, but even more so this year.
Markley says the casino has increased its janitorial staff and every station comes equipped with Germ-X and Lysol. He says the casino has hand sanitizers and it's being more diligent about keeping cards clean.
Deadwood officials say they get visitors from all over the world, and they know the potential for spreading disease in close quarters.
Cards and poker chips are being changed out daily, and machines are wiped down more often.
